It looks like Sony is just dancing around actually commiting to new games for some of these old mascots. R&C reboot (not an actual sequel), Crash bandicoot remake trilogy, Wipeout/PaRappa/Patapon/Loco Roco remasters and now a sly cooper TV show. I guess they really are trying to gauge interest of gamers in these franchises.
