Oh my, just the only time in the last years, and the only time ever in portables, that Ninty offered all the buttons the competition has! 
Lame excuse is lame, but really, I could understand very old developers bearing a grudge against Ninty, but Lawbreaker SW house didn't even exist last time Ninty was an arsehole with third parties.
