Personally, I preferred Miiverse. It should have still been an option alongside the rest of social media. At least with Miiverse, you know that all of the people seeing your posts are actually gamers who care about seeing that stuff. Now, I don't post anything from the games I play, because that's not what I use those outlets for. It's like when I go on You Tube. If I do a search on Andre the Giant wrestling matches, it's because I'm looking for one of his actual matches. Not a list flooded with peoples recordings of their WWE2K16 (or whatever annual iteration thereof) video game matches. I hate having to sift through that garbage. |
I remember reading that somewhere and I actually have posted on Twitter a couple of times but, for the most part I'm not sharing my gaming experiences with my real world friends. It just isn't going to happen. Meanwhile I used to post on Miiverse all the time. It was fun.... before they cracked down on everything and became jerks.
