The Wii-U was a failure, simple as that, if you didn't see it and you bought into that failure then learn from your mistakes and don't either A. Buy a console in the first year if money is a big thing to you, or B. Buy a console after the first year when it was very clear that the machine had a shaky if not lack of future in the slightest.
Nintendo pulled the plug on a dying system, their shareholders are far more important to please than a handful of disgruntled Wii-U loyalists who liked the machine.
