In terms of platform, I buy all third parties on PS4 because that is the console I want to support and I am a bit invested in trophies. That is in spite of the Xbox having a better controller.
I don't like inverted, so yeah, non-inverted. Sensitivity I don't tend to fiddle with really. The only game I remember messing around with in the last couple of years is Project Cars, but I had to fiddle with a load of things there, because the default console handling was shit. FPS games and similar I never really look
I don't have any particular complaints about the Xbox controller. I wish the PS4 controller was a bit bigger and had rumble feedback in the triggers
