If Trump or the Republicans win the next Presidential election again, then they will change. Otherwise no. They need to double down for he next 4 years because if they change now, they have little hope in helping to push a Democratic President come 2020.
If they do change, it will be so slow and subtle, most won't notice. Blatantly admitting defeat, or just being wrong in general, is not the Liberal way.
