3.5 years is not too early to be worried. Given when they started, their game should have been a launch title.

No its not, like wrote Switch is just launched, Switch has very strong launch with Zelda BotW and there wasn't need for another big game. We dont know how big their game is, this year is already very strong for Switch lineup, Nintendo could easily saving Retros game for next year even if its almost done, and we already know Nintendo like to have smaller amount of time between announcement and launch. Also, those 3.5 years goes in both ways, for possible assisting/remaster or their own game, fact we still dont know what they are working doesnt mean they assisting/remastering, and there is no reason to assume they don't work on own game and that they are just assisting/remastering when evre time before they were assisting/remastering game and working on own game.

Worst case scenario that I think is that they Wii U project is totally cancelled and they started working almost from start on Switch game, but most likely scenario that their game will be released in 2018. Retros game could easily biggest new Switch announcement at E3 2018. and I am sure we will at least see their game in sometime in 2018. latest.

By the time Switch came out they'd already had more than 3 years to work on it. It could've taken the place of another 2017 title. But now that E3 2017 has come and gone with no word despite Kirby and Yoshi being shown, it's a distinct possibility that they simply don't have anything to show.
