3DS had tons of MH games selling 2-4 million each in japan.
They wouldnt miss this public.
Maybe MH world was developed to catch the western audience, and it could be very different, much more western friendly... So, they would grow MH in west while keep the tons of profit in japan on switch.
Thats why 2 games in development...
