I'm glad for those fans, but it kinda is bittersweet for Nintendo because as a whole, the franchise is really not that popular. It will sell maybe a million copies WW on Switch, but some C-tier Mario spin-off would likely do about the same or more. It would be great if the general game community were half as passionate about Metroid as these guys are.
