I have no problem with the actual value. I understand that the cost is generated by the tech. I just think that if I'm going to be buying a premium gaming device, it needs to consistently hit 60fps. From all the threads I've seen about 4k/30 games, it doesn't seem like its meeting that target. That makes it basically worthless to me.

At that point, while actual value is justified, perceived value is not. To me, there is no reason to buy the X1X, and thats fine but I think a lot of people are going to see it the same way. For those who don't really care to spend a few hundred extra dollars for better graphics, it will have a hard time selling. For those who want a truly premium console, it will have a difficult time selling. It targets some sort of middle ground and I just don't think there's many people in that middle ground, but I could very well be wrong.
