This would be nice, but it's absolutely not needed with huge user base on Playstation.

let's just be real here, 99% of MS fans vocal about this don't give a fuck about playing with people from different consoles

they only care about it being an issue they can bash Sony for because they aren't in a  position to do it with games or sales.
