It's not that important, but there's been instances where people purposefully put it in the wrong category so the people that filter the category and don't want to see it, see it anyway. Equally it becomes a problem if certain users are banned from posting in threads about a certain company, they can't filter out the threads they're not meant to post in because they're in the wrong category. |
Everytime I create a thread that I had second thoughts on which forum it was created, I'd report the thread itself and ask the mod to move it.
