Well I guess it can be seen as a testament to how impressive Shadow of the Collosus was? It's actually a PS2 game that came out 2005.

Yes, it was a beautiful game.  I guess it could be compared to or confused with (in my case) 7th gen games. Since it had no npcs or tons of enemies or alot of dialog, they could focus on the scenery, atmosphere and the epic fights with the colossuses.
