I get that Pikmin 4 is probably happening because Miyamoto said so, but it really kinda is interesting how much leeway that franchise gets versus other Nintendo IP like Kid Icarus, Wave Race, F-Zero, etc.
Miyamoto really plays favorites with that IP, and he unfortunately probably fucked the Star Fox franchise into oblivion (will likely be ages before we see a new Star Fox).
