Foreign numbers seem to be dead in the water at this point)). Domestic: $340,505,078 So now that most people have seen it, and enough time has passed for people to dwell on it, I'm opening up the "1 vs. 2" poll... which shouldn't be a contest in my opinion (or that of anyone I know personally), but the internet seems to think otherwise, so it'll be interesting to see. As for myself, well I watched it 8 times, and I don't care. This movie was pretty damn special to me in many ways. I still think I'll go see it a 9th time before I'm done with it - spending R$100 (US$30) on a single movie is surely a bit extreme, and my wallet isn't very happy about that, but I don't regret a thing. |
China actually didn't do much for vol.2 and it's lurking around $100 M and might end up close to Dr. Strange numbers. It was reported earlier to be dropping off much higher than usual in the wake of other non-hollywood biggies releasing there. I can see it inching closer to BvS WW total, but this depends clearly on the domestic legs. It should end around $360-370 M at this rate and be settling for $ 850-880 M. 1 bn is out of the equation as some of early industry estimates have been proven wrong now. As more releases are on the way, (WW is going to be heavy competition with another new release.) It made most of its final dough from the memorial weekend.
