So as expected, the kind of barebones spit-and-polish seen in HD remasters like MH3U on Wii U and the console version of RE Revelations, where image quality is cleaned up but the game still looks extremely simplistic and dated.
Hopefully XX is the dying gasp of the 3DS era of Monster Hunter. The series has been held back for far too long.

Gee, there's a bold prediction. :P Naturally I'm not, the system is capable of graphics superior to PS3/360/Wii U, and this looks like an up-res'd Gamecube game.
