People playing this game without motion controls are at a huge disadvantage. Aside from the obvious interface handicap a standard control set up has, you're definitely not going to have nearly as much fun.

Not true, the only area motion controls might have a leg up in is being able to curve both Arms simultaneously, this would hardly be a major advantage as sending both arms out at once generally isn't ideal. Traditional controls are faster and more reliable (though not to a huge extent) when it comes to movement. Also fun is relative so that's just silly to say. What about people who don't like motion controls, you really believe they're gonna have more fun playing in a way they don't like over one they're comfortable with?

Curving both arms is kind of a requirement, especially if you are playing against heavier characters and you need to get around their attacks. On the faster/more reliable front, I don't agree. Due to the design of the game, motion controls allow for optimal control. At least with the current characters. On the other hand, analog sticks and buttons do not allow for optimal punching.
