This is a very basic feature that's been standard for the rest of the industry for years, now. Many Switch users would enjoy it. Those who do not could simply disable it. Adding the option would only be a benefit, and one long overdue.

Thank you. The Switch's bare bones functionality is a real missed opportunity. I shouldn't even need to own a tablet if I have a Switch. 

Yea, I really don't get it either. Why on earth would anyone complain about more features? Thats like complaining that your car has heated because hate heated seats. lol

Achievements aren't a feature, they're a gimmick. They also force developers to have to make crappy game design objectives in order to accomodate them.
