They will need to push the wave further, with gameplay of SM Oddysey and the release of ARMS and Splatoon2 this summer. Hopefully that is enough until the holidays and then hopefully SM Oddysey is not delayed to 2018. If it is delayed, what is there of incentive to buy a Switch in the second half of 2017? |
EAD Tokyo is very good about getting games done on time. Mario Odyessy probably could've been released earlier than November, but obviously I think Nintendo wanted to save it for November. The main EAD Tokyo team has not done anything since Mario 3D World in Nov. 2013 ... so they'll have had 4 years to work on Odyessy.
