I dont know, it just makes more sense to just launch the Switch there.If price is a problem, then just hold off one year and launch when you can produce it cheaper.

It's not that simple. Launching a console in China is a humongous hassle for a manufacturer due to state restrictions. The government regulates and censors the crap out of everything. Nintendo woudln't be able to launch the same Switch as what the rest of the world got, and the approval process would take forever. Sony and MS tried it and failed already with the PS4 and X1:
