Yep that seems more likely.

I think he really believed he could do what he said he was going to. The change was so sudden that I think he is now just a puppet, either under duress or out of greed or the corrupting influence of power. I don't know but those who voted for him aren't going to get anything different that they have had for the last 20 years. More foreign aggression, continued borrowing from faceless international bankers at the expense of the next generation, an increasingly large gap between the rich and poor.

It's just disappointing and I'm not even American.
