I do generally prefer Japanese games over western ones, but dismissing western games like that is quite odd. The success of many Japanese games in the west is a genuinely great thing, but that doesn't meant that western games are somehow inferior as a result. This year has brought out excellent games from both sides, and this looks to continue for the rest of the year as well.
