You can say whatever you want and be whoever you want and like whatever you want. But man, sometimes I feel like conversing with online gamers is just not where I belong. I don't fit in at ALL.

Depends a lot on the demographics you mingle with in real life. Vocab can vary a lot not just by gender, but also by age, ethnicity, socio-economic status, ideology, etc.
