Worthy pointing out they have used AA before. But usually in 30fps games. I THINK Breath of the Wild, at least on Switch, has a light AA solution. I think. It's not a very good/strong one. Both Zelda HD remasters did. I think their aversion to it on Wii U was largely one of performance since many of their games targeted high framerate and they didn't want that compromised and also didn't want to use a super cheap but ugly solution. Hopefully more games moving forward use it. |
Yeah Mario 3D World, Captain Toad, and XCX all used it too, which hopefully means XB2 and Odyssey will as well.
