And a wired external power bank in your pocket or on the table will be much more comfortable than holding a brick weighting almost 2 pounds.
Weight of the SwitchCharge (390g) plus the weight of the Switch (398g) = 788 grams
External power banks are also much cheaper and more versatile (charging different devices + charging multiple devices at the same time)
And last but not least crowdfunded hardware (and software) tends to be delayed for many months or even years while you can buy an external power bank anytime you want.
