Oi, they churn out these games almost as much as the Atlier games XD

And that is a problem...

I hope for their good it's a new title... Zestiria was decent but crippled and Berseria feels no different to an Atlus shovelware game. I really hope they get their grip and AAA magic back...

I can't tell if you have played Berseria or not. On one hand it feels like you are just trying to sound edgy by insulting a game you haven't played. Despite the fact it has been the best tales game.. possibly ever.

On another hand you may be one of those people stuck in nostalgia. You really liked an old, old Tales game - not anything not "that" is considered crap.

But you are the first person I've read that actually has anything negative to say about Berseria little alone trying to call it shovelware.

The story, the combat, the extra, the connection to Zestiria everything is 100% top notch.

After some time looking at playthroughs I heard one of my friends, who reviews games no differently from me, said the game left a lot to be desired. Whilst the likes of Xillia don't hold a candle to it, it feels forced and unnaturally deep, not unlike most other games hailing from the Baba era...

I am indeed nostalgic since I preferred Symphonia games, but feel the newer titles follow the Graces formula of party cohesion rather than party disintegration that was common of Team Symphonia games and Legendia, which had delivered the best selling flagship stories whose fans were mostly Westerners rather than Japanese or Asian. I have an eerie feeling most of the laid off personnel belonged to Team Symphonia...
