On the one hand, Nintendo seem determined to keep it on life support as long as possible and milk it until its teats fall off.

On the other, its selling less than Xbox One on a weekly basis now, and has been pointed out already, it sold less than 15 million in FY 2015 + 2016, and Nintendo forecast this financial year to be its lowest yet at 6 million.

If this forecast proves to be accurate, then to beat GBA it would need to sell more than 9 million from March 2018 onwards, which is a tall order.

Btw, does VGChartz have a way to compare weekly sales between different years?
