Success does not dictate whether one product is a natural progression or extention of another. I stand by my statement that the Switch is more clearly evolved from the Wii U concept than a hypothetical Vita descendant. Hell, aspects of the Wii U evolved from linking the Gameboy Advance to the Gamecube (Pac-Man Vs).
