Wii U port begging (on Switch)

It takes a fraction of the effort to port games than to actually develop entirely new games.

I belive your feelings are from a world where Wii U wasn't a massive failure even though it had some notable games. Over time you will see numerous Wii U titles on Switch, its an easy way to give Switch notable content in slow periods.
