I was clueless on what architecture they even switched to after ditching Power PC and had to go to wiki to find that it is a custom API named "NVN" based off GeForce gaming cards...  Well now I know a little more. 

Switch has full support from Khronos. So Open GL 4.5 and Vulkan as well.
