I was already looking.  Only found it on Diddy Kong hitting 400k in 4 days (that was one record it broke) but I also recall it hitting 1 million in 11 days (that was the other record).  MK 64 may have launched to records too but I can't find them and don't remeber that one like I do DKR.

But notice those numbers.  400k in 4 days was consider a record in the US at the time.

Yeah I'm quite sure MK64 had that record first. 

The sorta interesting thing there was GoldenEye hit 1 million in the US by November 1997, that's cool considering it had virtually no marketing.
