They need to ensure you see value in the subscription model so that there isn't much to complain about when it is announced and launches. With the tie-in to VC type content, this is also why I expect an actual VC hasn't been announced. It is all going to relate to each other in some fashion. |

Imagine walking through your favorite grocery store and some old lady offers you a free sample of her oatmeal raisin cookies andit tastes like ass?
Would you assume "It's free so of course it tastes bad! I have to pay for it to be good!" or would you assume the brand is bad and go spend you money on hookers?
--I actually do expect it to improve, tho. Nothing concrete but my gut says it will.
