I predict this game will rival Zelda's attach ratio, basically every two switch sales should equate to one copy of this game selling at least.

Which when you consider the fact that it is a remaster means it will just be printing money for Nintendo with software salvaged from the Wii-U

Well it's definitely a must own... it also appears it will be the first console/game bundle.

It was an MK8 bundle that first sold me on the Wii U, so hopefully it helps sway people towards the Switch as well.

And you consider it a must own as someone who has had it on the Wii-U before, imagine people like myself who were tempted by the game but not enough to buy into the Wii-U, it's going to be a whole new experience complete with all that DLC, Link in a MK game, I can't wait for this Friday to come around.

Suffering the same issue as I had with Lego City undercover though, although slightly less so, the game at retail ranging from 50-55e but on the Store it's 59.99 Honestly though, I think I'll get it digitally just so I can have both it and Zelda on the switch without swapping carts around.

Lego City was way worse here though, you can get the Physical copy of the game for €45 but the Digital version (which is the one I want) costs €59.99 paying €15 more for the convience of having the game on my SD card when it goes directly to Nintendo and has far less overhead makes zero sense to me, I can't understand it.
