It feels to me people are just watching too few shows generally. I mean I have nothing against people who only watch 3 animes a season but those people also only tend to give only 5-10 animes a fighting chance.

Which brings me to your point. The most bland and generic anime of the season obviously goes to Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi to Kinki Kyouten. Close second goes to Hinako Note. And people would know that if they watched more animes in a season :P

What I'm saying is, is it really that hard to watch like 30-40 first eps every 3 months? Or is that not "casual" enough for you :P

I watch a lot of anime, but not from a single season. Catching up with legacy anime is just as important to me as catching the best new anime. So I miss a lot of anime and don't give them much of a chance.
