I don't think we really even have to "beg" for ports of older games. It'll likely happen inevitably because publishers are going to look at Switch sales and then look at their content catalog and what can be ported to the system easily/reasonably and within a short amount of time.
A lot of pubs have back catalogs of games that could easily be ported to Switch and make decent money off of.
