The other thing too is the hardware roadmap is basically already prebuilt for Nintendo.
Nvidia has the Tegra X2 already, and Tegra X3 (Volta-based Xavier) is deep into development. So basically the future chips are already either available or will be done by the end of this year. When they said they see it as a 20 year partnership or whatever you can at least see what they meant at the beginning of it.
Everything is just laid out for Nintendo will this hardware line.
Past 10 years though ... I think streaming services will replace physical hardware especially as Fiber Optic internet spreads.
