In all honesty, it feels like they pushed the Switch out in Spring because the Wii U had been effectively dead (their own fault) for the better part of a year.

I think if they had waited several months to launch Switch later this year, they would have had a lot more games and services ready to go at launch. But whatever, I guess. Hopefully they pick up the slack and this doesn't turn into another Wii U deal, with sparse releases.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, ARMS, and Splatoon 2 in the first 5 months is better than Wii U (NSMBU, Nintendo Land, LEGO City). In fact I would say for Nintendo releases it's as good of a 5 month span as any Nintendo system has had (Wii and DS inlcuded) in a long time.

Ultra Street Fighter II, Minecraft, Snipperclips, Fast RMX, Shovel Knight Treasure Trove, Mr. Shifty, NBA Playgrounds, Snake Pass as digital support is also not too bad either.

Though I have to admit some of those early Wii U multiplats like a COD or Assassin's Creed or a Tekken would be definitely welcome on the Switch. On Switch they'd have more valuable because they'd be portable.
