Are you going to use this arguement forever? WiiU games all hit 5mil+ right? Like W101/Pikmin3/bayo2 because of no competition?

Yes because most of those games would have made the 2 million mark easily if the Wii U had a decent installbase. Look at the PS4 even crappy games like  LBP 3, Killzone and Knack sell over or close to a million without even trying. So yes competition is a very big deal. Remember the first Motorstorm it sold over 4 million units. If it had competition (releases where very scarce first years on PS3) I bet it wouldn't have made half of these sales.

The whole "it sold cos no competition" argument doesn't really fly. Games like Wonderful 101 and Starfox didn't flop because Wii U had a small install base, they flopped because they are unattractive products. If "no competition on the platform" is enough for Switch games to sell well, why haven't games like Just Dance 2017, Super Bomberman R, and Skylanders Imaginators, sold well?
