Really horrible and sadly present in most societies. In the west it occurs but rather that people are beaten to death for being gay, shot in a mass shooting for being black or beaten up just because they are white. Brainwashing in all societies', whether it's religious, racist or other is a result of low education and an anti-liberal view of society.
