Honestly, this seems like the healthiest projection for the gaming market since the wii/ps3/360 days (towards the second half of that era, specifically, when all 3 were doing well).

All three of these consoles had phenominal launches. I have no problem with the other companies doing well, I just want the multiplatforms to be on the switch and I want them to launch at the same time, not months later, with bugs.

I'll take even late versions of multis at this point, lol. I think developers actually do want to support the Switch, it's just gonna be kinda tricky getting some of the games to run acceptably. When Nintendo eventually launches Switch models with the X2 and even X3 I think you will see very good support.

Why? This should be the easiest thing to develop for. It's basically copy/paste code, and then debug mode. I believe multiple developers have already said they were able to port to switch in a month or less (Snakepass apparently only took 7 days, from what I recall?).

If they aren't released the same time as the other systems, then they won't sell as well as the other systems because of two reasons:

1) People may buy them on PC.

2) People get VERY excited about launches and if one version of the game launches months after the others, that excitement dies. You start to hear people talk about it, you see videos posted, memes/gifs, review, etc. all taking away from the novelty and excitement from the game and then it finally launches, months later, and there is no more passion in you for the game. I don't care what anyone says, it is a fact that games launching later than other versions of the same game are going to sell worse because of it.
