Back in the day when we were having our first child, and my wife was visiting message boards where moms go talk about babies, they used "bdbdbd" as thumbs up, so that's where I got the idea.
| Platina said: Platina is basically the direct translation of Platinum to Japanese: プラチナ (purachina), with the proper translation as 白金 (shirogane) So Pura-chi-na -> Pla-ti-na is basically how I got the name. I first heard this name from Pokemon Adventures Platinum where the name is translated to Platina rather than Platinum. That volume itself is sub par, but the name stuck ever since and coincedentally is also my favourite Pokemon game :p |
