Guys right now it's not a matter of of NK could hit the US. They definitely can hit South Korea and Japan, two US allies that could suffer mass casualties just by being caught in the cross fire. The citizens of those countries are at risk.
Besides China needs NK as a buffer be tween countries allied with the US. They won't sit back and let them topple.
