I have many fond memories of video games from my childhood.
The DS, however, didn't release until I was 19 years old, and I got it because touch control was something entirely new on a mass market system. I got it for the more hardcore games, but I also got Nintendogs, and I raised the cutest Corgi with my girlfriend at the time. It really felt like a new level of thinking about games and interacting with them.
