no one who knows anything about gaming would say Vita could compete with Switch
but yes, the thing is dead to everyone bar the most die-hard fans who can enjoy niche Japanese games. I like niche Japanese games but even i can't be bothered with it. I got one a couple years after it came out. There were enough games to last about a year of regular play, and that was it.
probably up there with Wii U and XB1 as the worst consoles i have bought, so i am not too sad about it really
