After a very long time of the right trying to convince the left to move more towards center, and watching the left move even further left and leaving the right behind without much sympathy, the right have had about enough. No wonder why hearing "burn it to the ground" doesn't bother the right. A lot of those people are in a place where a chaotic, "everyone for themselves" type of America, isn't all that much different to them, in comparison to the nightmare it would be for most the left.
Something also to take into account. While this is most certainly reaching, in a fallen America that could be compared in a way to a new wild wild west, the right would rule with an iron fist. This is why if Trump does nothing, the right will still back him. Until it truly seems like the left have decided to come back closer to center, and be much more inclusive towards everyone, the right will be just fine with stagnation. Sometimes people need to learn the hard way.
