Meaning if we took away the sales of the NES, SNES and Gameboy?  

That would leave Nintendo with 470.25 million whereas Sony is at 500 million though wouldn't it?

That doesn't take into account Gameboy sales after 1994 which recieved a huge increase from the Gameboy Color's release in 1998. SNES sales also since it only released in late 1990 and the N64 didn't release til mid 1996.
