And I finished Demi-chan. The first episode's indication of a truly special anime held true until the end. The characters are nothing special, nor is the story or the theme but the execution is basically perfect. The main issue though was that despite being a feel good anime all of the characters were just a bit too perfect and lacked certain parts of character development. That and the basically pedestrian story and setting mark it down from a perfect score to a 9. If it wasn't for ep 11 it prob ably wouldn't even have been that.
There is no plot element I hate more than manufactured misunderstandings. Demi-chan took that element and resolved it directly and maturely even though a bit cheesy. For that and succubus sensei I am very grateful. Overall a deserved 9 and probably one of the very few animes I won't forget easily and will be on top of my list for feel good and SOL animes.
