Everything runs on their servers, the problem would be internet speeds. Some smartTV's used to use PSNow. I have tried PSNow at a friends that had crappy internet and there were some problems playing RE5 co-op. Which I would completely understand for Fighting Games, but I don't play Fighting Games competitively (From my stance I saw no issue with Mortal Kombat). I haven't noticed any games leaving PSNow, but there are a lot of Ubisoft titles and 3rd party and I'm sure they could go. Just like Netflix I assume some leave and some stay with exclusive Sony titles (Like Netflix originals) staying. I haven't experienced any game being down and all the saves are made in the cloud so my data hasn't been lost.
On a side note you can earn trophies with this system. So I see trophy enthusiasts liking this model. They also have other models which are more expensive and this is definitely seen as the best deal. From where I stand I can already tell the current selection is worth my $100. If they add more it only adds up the value.
Games I did not get a chance to play that are on PSNow:
God of War: Chains of Olympus, God of War: Ascension, Asura's Wrath, Assassins Creed III, Batman: Origins, Beyond Two Souls, Dark Souls II, Darksides I and II, Dead or Alive 5, Devil May Cry 4, Enslaved, F.E.A.R., Infamous 2, ICO, Injustice, Motorstorm Apocolypse, Mortal Kombat Komplete, Ni No Kuni, Ninja Gaiden 2, tons of Ratchet and Clanks, Red Dead Redemption (Just love this one), Saints Row 2&3&4, Sly Cooper Thieves in Time, and Uncharted 3.
Excluded Red Dead these are all games I have never played. If I wanted to pay for them individually it would be over $500. Just to note there is no way I can play all of these games in a year and finish them.
