A new F-Zero game would need to sell a lot, and I do mean a lot, in order to convince Nintendo to bring the franchise back. Maybe have the makers of the FAST Racing games do it? Or maybe the people who did F-Zero X back then are still around. They'd also need to market it, but how? I was thinking maybe promote it at real-world auto racing events, like the Indy 500 or Formula 1 GPs. And what about promotional merchandise? It worked for Pokemon, so why not? |
Nintendo tried to with Wii U. Criteron turned them down. Shin'en has stated they do not wish to make F-Zero. They want to make their own thing. Nintendo should just ask SEGA AM2 again like they did with GX.
