Yeah it's actually part of the reason why I think 1,2 Switch is lame, Nintendo wanted to make a party game that can be played anywhere (like on a park bench/table) with the system set down on a table, but the 6.2 inch screen is too small for groups of people to gather around and comfortably view the screen. So they went with a bunch of mini-games that effectively don't require the screen ... but as such, the game is pretty lame.
